February 15th

Today was a rollercoaster of emotions. I was so nervous to get feedback on my video and, besides a couple of comments that made me feel bad, the majority of it was super helpful. They gave me a lot more compliments that I thought they would which made me feel more confident in my work. My English Honors class also gave me the idea of making a website instead of the reflection paper. I'm actually really excited about that idea! It would be a way for me to have my whole project and journey in one space that I could share with people beyond this semester. I hope my advisors are okay with this idea, because I genuinely feel really excited about it. I also made great progress on my homework. I'm realizing I get a lot more homework done now that I can't stop for an hour and play on my phone. I'm a whole week ahead right now on homework! Also, being ahead is really helping me feel less burnt out and stressed because of homework. I didn't do much extra today besides working with a partner to finish a big class project. Riley and I are spending time together now, but I feel really good and happy so I think that's just as important.

February 16th

Today was okay. Stressful because I'm trying to get this project figured out with my advisors. Exciting because I finished my video. Frustrating because dinner wasn't great but also fun because I tried a new recipe. I'm very excited for this weekend because it's my brother's birthday. We are going to Casper to see everyone, and tomorrow I'm making cupcakes for him. I do want to record my process of baking just in case this website idea works. My class also suggested I create a final short film to contrast my first one which I think is a great idea. I showed my best friend my video today and she loved it! I haven't seen her in a month or so (I sent her the video) so we were able to catch up today which was great. She is super supportive of my project which feels amazing.

February 17th

Things are hectic right now because I'm trying to pack and get to sleep, but I have so much to do. Today was a good day then a bad day then a good day. I did get my brother's cupcakes done, and I feel really proud of them! I have my meeting with my advisor in the morning then it is off to Casper for the long weekend. I tried recording the process of making the cupcakes, and it just didn't work out. So, that was stressful. I do plan on getting a couple of shots this weekend though for my final film.
