The day has gone by fast. I finished a huge assignment for one of my classes. I also got some feedback on my website from my advisor, so I will implement that change tomorrow. I attempted to make a new recipe. It failed. Hard. Now my kitchen is a disaster, but it was still fun to try and make something new. Now, I'm going to get set up and relax for the rest of the night. I might even color or something while I watch a movie.

I only had one class today, so I had a lot of time to work on homework. I also worked on a gift, which involved some creative work. That was pretty fun! Now, I'm watching a movie and I'm going to read before bed. It's crazy that in one week I will have my thesis defense and this project “done”. People have had great reactions so far, and I'm excited to keep it growing. However, it feels odd that this will all be “over”. Of course, it won't just end, but it feels weird and sad to think about.

This morning, I finished a final paper, which felt super great! Then, my mom decided to come down for the night. We've been watching dumb, scary movies all night (including one hilariously terrible shark movie). It has been so nice having her here, and I'm grateful we got some time together.
