April 16th

Today, my mom and I spent the day together. We did some running around before we got dinner with one of her friends from high school. Then, we went to Riley's house, and Riley's mom and I dyed my mom's hair. We did some highlights and, for the first time ever dying someone's hair, I think I rocked it. Afterwards, my mom went home and I hung out with Riley's family. Tomorrow is Easter, so I'm spending the morning with his family then going to my dad's for the rest of the day. I have been filming for my short film and tomorrow, I will have some time for homework and to edit my video. Things are coming together.

April 17th

Happy Easter! This morning I celebrated with Riley's family. We open baskets and searched for eggs outside, which was so much fun! Then I came out to my dad's house. We all hang out for a little bit, then my brother and I hid eggs for each other, while my dad made ribs for lunch. Afterwards, my brother went to work and I went to see my mom for a little bit. It was nice to hang out for a minute, and I'm glad I got to see her before I leave tomorrow. Then, my dad and I hung out at his house, he made breakfast burritos for the morning, and I worked on homework. I finished my short film! I feel pretty good about it, but mostly glad I’m back on track to finish my project. I showed it to my dad and brother, and they really liked it. We watched a show together that we used to watch when we were younger before we all headed to bed. I had a lot of fun today, and I'm really glad I got some time with my Dad. I'm bummed we have to leave tomorrow, but it is the final semester stretch, which feels good.

April 18th

Today, we drove back to Laramie. I'm already missing everyone, but happy to be home. Right after we got back, I had to go to my classes. Afterwards, I was super worn out. Riley and I decided to unpack then watch a movie tonight. It was a great night of relaxing.
