Today was a good day. I had a presentation that went well, and I made some progress on homework. Tonight, Riley and I went to another Union After Dark, which was so much fun! They had a fajita bar, which was delicious. We also got a couple paint-by-numbers sets, and I'm super excited to try those! Then, they had two comedians performing. Riley had never been to a comedy show, and I haven't been to one in a long time. It was so much fun! They were hilarious, and made our night even better. Tomorrow, our moms and Riley's brother are coming to town. I'm excited for that and to hopefully get some more shots for my second short film.

April 2nd

I had a good day today. Family came up and we went out to lunch. That was fun, and it was super great to see them! I also started the paint-by-numbers portrait tonight. I painted for 6 hours! I only made a small dent in the picture, but I had so much fun. Overall, it was a great day.

April 3rd

I painted a lot again today, and I really enjoyed it! I also got some homework done and made progress on my website. I tried a new recipe tonight, too. I made my mom's spaghetti sauce and tried it with spaghetti squash for the first time. It wasn't my favorite, but it was super fun to make and it was healthy, which was cool. Tonight, Riley and I have been spending time together. I really love our evenings now, because even if we are doing our own things, we feel more together.
