Daily Journals

This page features the daily journals I have kept throughout this project. Each one, here, is the typed version of what I originally wrote that day. I have also included some keywords at the bottom of each entry, so you can easily see what they mention as well as what I often talked about in my journals. You can see these keywords by clicking on the journal entry.

Today has been a great day! This morning I worked on homework for a minute before losing motivation. Afterwards, I decided to paint instead of watch TV. That was a lot of fun! I also feel good because my classes were pretty chill today and went by fast. After I got home, I made raspberry lemonade cupcakes with homemade lemon cake, homemade raspberry frosting, and topped with fresh lemon slices and raspberries. I was missing ingredients, ran out of ingredients, had so much trouble getting the frosting to even taste good, and ran out of batter. I might not know what they taste like, because I only had enough batter to fill my cupcake holders, but it was so much fun! Plus they look good, and that's all that really matters. When I was done with those, and after dinner, I took a shower, did my hair, and wore a new pajama set. Before I sat down to write this, I went through my closet and put everything that didn't fit or didn't make me feel good wearing it into a bag to donate. That feels really good, and now I can buy new clothes over break... bonus!

We had originally planned on going to Fort Collins today to shop. Instead, we got stuck in town because the roads are closed. So, Riley and I relaxed for a little while then drove around town. We went to lunch, which was fun despite the food not being great. Then we came home, cleaned up the house, I packed, and then we got cozy and watched our show. I really like how much more time Riley and I have gotten together since starting this project. It was a very chill and relaxing day. Tomorrow, we are headed to Casper for Spring break. I'm super excited!

Today, Riley and I woke up, he packed, we grabbed breakfast, and drove to Casper. The roads were open, and mostly dry, so we left as soon as we could. When we got to town, I saw Riley's family for a little bit then went out to my dad's house. I have my own little room here, which feels nice. Then my dad made tacos for dinner after my brother got off of work. My mom also came for dinner which was fun. Afterwards, my brother and I went to get frozen yogurt before we came home. I showed him my website also, and he really liked it! I'm glad I'm in Casper. It's nice to be around family.
